Dr Adnan joined Illinois GastroHealth in 2020 after completing a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology from University of New Mexico.
Dr Adnan has clinical interests in liver disease, including alcohol-related liver disease and cirrhosis, as well as colon cancer screening and clinical nutrition.
He sees patients in our Bloomington and Pontiac locations.

Dr Mahkri joined Illinois GastroHealth in 2015 after 18 years in practice in the Chicagoland area. Of note, he is the only gastroenterologist in the Twin Cities to perform ERCP, which is an advanced procedure used in the diagnosis and management of pancreatobiliary disorders.
Dr Mahkri received his gastroenterology training from Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and sees patients in Bloomington.

Omar S Khokhar, MD
Dr Khokhar is a central Illinois native and has practiced in central Illinois since 2010. He completed his gastroenterology training from Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC.
Dr Khokhar has a passion for digestive cancer screenings, including esophageal, pancreatic, and colon cancer.
Dr Khokhar performs EUS, which helps with staging of upper and lower GI cancers, and non-invasive tissue sampling of pancreatic lesions.
